Who’s The Mezz?

My name is Heather and I’m a 22yo college student studying some sort of psychology in a small midwestern college. I have two furry best friends that never cease to make me smile and a camera is normally attached to my hand, to capture whatever the moment may present. I began this blog originally because I thought it was a fun idea, but it took me about a year to really get into the blogosphere and start posting consistently rather than erratically. In it you will see my thoughts and ramblings about school, my job, my dogs, the small adventures that I sometimes get to go on, and, of course, lots of photos. (: Feedback is appreciated.

I’m just beginning to explore life and all it has to offer. This includes stepping outside of my comfort zone, trying new things, and reaching out for new ideas and dreams, attempting to step past my fears and insecurities. I’m an introvert, just slightly shy, and although I was born the first of April, I don’t care for comedians or comedies in the movie department. I’ve been told that I come off as a bitch before a person gets to know me, but I chalk that up to my lack of notice for those not in my radar. I’m fiercely loyal to those I love and care about, but am not a people person – definitely an animal person.

Last but not least, I’m on a search for peace. Whether I find it tomorrow or ten years down the road, I intend to make it a journey of happiness and finding gratitude in the little things: here I go.
