Day 9: big

Big boy Jackson next to little girl Dakota (Bernese Mountain dogs).

When I was trying to figure out what I was going to photograph for today’s topic, my automatic thought was, comparison. Something is big, or small, or hot, or cold, in comparison to something else.  So of course, I had to get a picture of the two generations of Berners together (no small task, let me tell you).

I began reading Ted Dekker’s book, Showdown, today. It’s about good versus evil. Can you have good if you don’t have evil? Can you have peace if you don’t have conflict? Or is it that the opposites reinforce themselves, and force us to recognize each as different yet connected?

Haha that’s funny, so was mine–my first thought was “big is a relative term”. So i was going to be a smartass and take a picture of something like Peyton next to a bug and be all “well I guess she is big!”
    …but I didn’t.

I want to read Thr3e by Dekker next! Just finished his “Adam”, which is the one with “Heatherrrr.” Haha. You’ll have to let me know how Showdown is.
